This simple, yet elegant bench was designed using straight lines that create a minimalistic feeling of the piece in its environment. The wider top base gives enough support to prevent it from tipping over so the front can be stable on just one leg. Such design makes the piece light. To break the monotonic lines, I kept one corner from the plank as it originally was. This small detail made it visually more interesting.
