The purpose of this page is to show the materials we normally work with. The raw pieces of wood are purchased locally. We mostly work with massive wood (quality A), except in the cases of specific projects that require other materials. All the wood comes from a responsible cutting sawmill and carries the FSC-label. 

I hand pick myself all the wood for every project. As a natural material, each piece of wood varies in color and pattern, so no two pieces that are exactly alike exist. That’s also a part of the working philosophy and originality that characterizes my pieces. I make sure all the wood is of high quality, well dried and beautiful. Wood sometimes shows specific patterns or shapes, for example crotch or burl wood. Using pieces containing such specific patterns gives an extra touch to the look of the furniture.
